Do any of you keep a dream journal?
When I remember dreams nowadays, they go into my normal journal, but I have several dedicated dream journals from years past when my dreams were vivid enough and often enough that they filled their own journals. I remember at the time not understanding what my dreams ment, but now when I read through them again it is painfully obvious to me what my dreams were telling me.

Re: Dream Journal
Fri, July 16, 2004 - 5:14 PMI keep a dream journal, and it has come in handy before. I once dreamed about the house I bought, before I even knew I would be able to afford a house. This house is 3 stories tall, has a big drop-off from the deck, 2 stairways on opposite sides of the house, clawfoot bathtub, hot tub, and a huge kitchen with a center island. Not your typical house; it's a total party palace.
In my dream, me and my friends were active through the whole place, not quite sure what we were doing, but there was a feeling that I was in charge. The carpet, curtains, doorjambs and countertops were all dark RED. I mean a horrible color. I woke up, but instead of writing out the dream, I drew a picture of the house. Strange, I'd never drawn my dreams before, but thats what came out.
A month later, an old friend made us a deal we couldn't refuse on his 'white elephant' of a house. As we toured it the first time, my jaw dropped. 3 stories, 2 stairwells, kitchen island, bathtub, hot tub, etc. But everything was dark GREEN. I mean, EVERYTHING ....countertops, carpet, curtains, paint, outside, inside, argh!
After we bought the house and moved in, I showed my husband the dream journal and he was astounded. We're both very glad, however, it was all GREEN we were dealing with instead of RED. (We eventually changed much of the coloring, adding purple and blue.)
Now I just take that stuff as "my normal life...."

Re: Dream Journal
Sat, July 17, 2004 - 6:24 PMI keep one on and off (Gemini), so I have a few. I throuw them in a drawer and come back to them sometimes. I need to be doing one now. This time of the year is always a test for me. What better than my dreams to tell me why?
I use my dreams in personal way that some may assign the "M" word to. Call it what you will.

Re: Dream Journal
Fri, January 13, 2006 - 12:56 AMOkay, now this is just weird. I keep a journal by my bed to record my dreams. Last night, I remember waking up in the middle of the night and writing down the dream. This morning, I don't remember the dream, but I have the strangest entry in my journal:
"An instruction manual would be great. In the absence of that, I'd settle for an energy state diagram. I could extrapolate the directions from that!"
Any ideas at all? I vaguely think it had something to do with the guy I'm seeing, but that's all I know.
