Has anyone had this experience?
I was in a library, and there was a book on the shelf that got my attention. On the binding looked like Hebrew or Arabic charectors in gold leaf. I couldn't read them; I knew I couldn't. But I knew that the letters said it was a holy book of some sort. I knew this as if they had said "Bible" or "Koran" or "Tao te Ching" in English, as if I was reading Hebrew or Arabic.
So I took it down the book, and opened it up randomly. The black marks on the page at first looked again like Hebrew, but they moved and scrambled around and re-arranged themselves in front of my eyes, and suddenly I was reading English. (anyone remember the cartoon about ants and musical notes?) But I wasn't really reading, because I couldn't focus on the words; they wouldn't hold still. But I "knew" what they were saying. I dont' remember what it was, but I do recall it was the message I was hoping to wake up with.

Re: reading in dreams
Wed, September 8, 2004 - 12:49 AMWhat a wonderful dream. I like the description of the letters moving around like cartoon ants forming shapes. Do I understand that you did wake up with the message you were hoping for? If not, I sometimes focus on the particulars of the dream I want to continue or re-dream before I got to sleep. Sometimes I don't actually dream the same or a similiar dream for several nights but the dreams in between make the re-dreaming take on more meaning and depth.

Re: reading in dreams
Wed, January 11, 2006 - 8:38 PMThis reminded me of something cool I experienced during some psychic development training. It was a spirit journey so I guess not technically a dream. I pictured some sort of conveyance taking me upwards to a beautiful library that houses all the Akashic records. A young man, the librarian, would bring me books with any information I was seeking. Hmmm, maybe I should go back. I'm tempted towards an interpretation along the lines of a message to you that all the spiritual information you need is available to you. We may even come with this pre-installed.

Re: reading in dreams
Fri, January 13, 2006 - 12:58 AMI've had several dreams where I saw something like a newspaper and tried to read it (in plain English) and couldn't read it. Very rarely am I able to actually read something.
I wonder why this is?
